The Sticky Wicket – St. John, Antigua

Audio Lighting, Audio, Caribbean, Antigua, CET, AV

Sticky Wickets is an upscale family dining restaurant that doubles as a Cricket hall of fame museum. Also the venue of the Bowlers Club. Both facilities employ state of the art, top dollar AV systems wall to wall installed with LD systems of Texas.

What was the original vision of the client? The client’s representative was adamant about making a long-term investment ensuring all systems have 100% redundancy built-in.

Basics of system design, low profile Meyer Sound MM4 speakers used throughout with HD video distribution to many LCD screens and AMX touch screen control at multiple locations. Redundant 40 channel MATV systems, Redundant AMX music servers. Bowlers club also included all touchscreen management with Amina, invisible ceiling speakers and a true 1080p HD video conference system.

Special key points or design features or challenges? As the main use of this was for broadcast of 2020, all systems required absolute redundancy, and redundant fiber data links required venue wide for audio, video, and control.
