Caribbean Airlines VIP Lounge
Location: Piarco, Trinidad and Tobago
Project Overview
The Caribbean Airlines VIP Lounge provides passengers with a comfortable space to relax, dine, and unwind before their flights. CET integrated the lounge’s audio, video, advertising, flight-information, and announcement systems.
The Client’s Vision
Caribbean Airlines envisioned a relaxing and comfortable environment where passengers could enjoy entertainment and background music while waiting for their flights. The system also needed to display scheduled advertisements and live flight information while supporting clear announcements throughout the lounge.
System Design
The system is built around a Q-SYS digital signal processor, with audio inputs for background music and a microphone for announcements. Multiple displays are equipped with dedicated BrightSign media players and cable boxes for advertising, flight information, and general television viewing.
A custom graphical interface allows staff to control audio levels and television channels from a tablet.
