SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV)Systems in various projects. This includes, but is not limited to, systems such as CCTV, access control, public address systems, fire alarm systems, and other related technologies. The role involves coordination with different teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practice, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet client requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing ELV systems.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, public address systems, fire alarm systems, etc.
- Proficiency in using design software such as StarDraw, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications in relevant ELV technologies (e.g., CTS, BICSI, KNX) are a plus.
SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
The Systems Technician must be able to demonstrate experience completing technical installation of audiovisual & lighting systems, including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of audio and video equipment, implementation of control systems and video conference systems. Ability to trouble‐shoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems and lighting.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in installation/commissioning of AV systems and/or camera systems
- Relevant certifications or technical training in audiovisual technology, sound engineering or related fields an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of telecommunication systems and electrical systems.
- Ability to setup, test, calibrate equipment and devices as required to produce fully functional systems. This includes video displays, display systems, screens, cameras, switches, processors, transmitters, receivers, interfaces, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, controls, and other active and passive devices.
